OPTIC PROFILE

The group of the OPTIC band basically was a commitment from his personnel. An uniqueness from this band that is the difference between these personnel was explicit very clear, good from the RACE (the ethnic group and the descendants), the Religion, Karakter and the identity as well as many other differences. And the intensity of the five young men could be united in the forum that was positive, working and fighting together for the sake of one aim. This of course implied the identity of our Country that differed but one Indonesian. One Ekspression from the spirit of the oath pemuda.Berawal from often met and gathered to often played music together as well as followed festival-festival available music made them unite the determination to together create a work of music that could be enjoyed by everyone. On July 07 2007 spontaneously mentioned themselves with OPTIC.


1. Hystory OPTIC Band

the group of this OPTIC band was formed during 2001 by the name of OKLEYS. Banyak the musical site that often was followed in the period. And dimasa-period this they often bailed out the experience from musical sites although at that time they still berstatus as the student SMU in fact was that still SLTP. Sebagai the band of the school child but in the period they have been enough to prove their courage to appreciate the talent and their hobby would his proof music they had several times become the champion festival the band disekolah they and their intensity had also appeared in the Underground musical parade ditahun 2004. During 2005 OKLEYS changed into a group of the band that was based as the band rock and they replaced their name to DEI JAVU their reason for canning be heard more sangar…tidak half-hearted they carried songs belonging to groups of the band rock famous the world like Dream theater, Hallowen, Bon jovi, Fire house, GNR and the group of the other band. Various musical sites were followed especially the musical site

2.Filosofi the OPTIC

OPTIC name not merely the name or the term for the group of the band that had a membership of five young men. Secara harpiah OPTIC meant the implement to see, but also could be interpreted as the View, Filosofinya that five different people united himself in a view (OPTIC) to gain one aim. OPTIC also was the abbreviation from OPTion of musIC that meant the choice in bermusik. Here contained philosophy that OPTIC wanted to become the choice for anyone in the matter enjoyed and appreciated music. So clear in the OPTIC name was contained by deep philosophy. OPTIC was a declaration of the commitment from his personnel that had the background that was different in order to achieve his aim that is becoming the choice for anyone in the matter enjoyed and appreciated music and this became the point of view and the OPTIC mission..

OPTIC BAND

OPTIC PROFILE

Grup band OPTIC pada dasarnya adalah sebuah komitmen dari para personilnya. Sebuah keunikan dari band ini yaitu perbedaan antara para personil ini tersurat sangat jelas, baik dari RAS ( suku dan keturunan ), Agama, Karakter dan kepribadian serta banyak perbedaan lain. Dan hebatnya kelima pemuda ini dapat bersatu dalam wadah yang positif, berkarya dan berjuang bersama demi satu tujuan. Hal ini tentu saja menyiratkan kepribadian Negara kita yang berbeda-beda namun satu Indonesia. Sebuah pencitraan dari semangat sumpah pemuda.Berawal dari sering bertemu dan berkumpul hingga sering bermain musik bersama serta mengikuti festifal-festifal musik yang ada membuat mereka menyatukan tekad untuk bersama-sama menciptakan sebuah karya musik yang dapat dinikmati semua orang. Pada tanggal 07 Juli 2007 secara spontan menyebut diri mereka dengan OPTIC.

1.Latar Belakang
Pada awalnya grup band OPTIC ini terbentuk pada tahun 2001 dengan nama OKLEYS. Banyak ajang musik yang sering diikuti pada masa itu. Dan dimasa-masa ini mereka banyak menimba pengalaman dari ajang-ajang musik walaupun saat itu mereka masih berstatus sebagai siswa SMU bahkan ada yang masih SLTP. Sebagai band anak sekolah namun pada masa itu mereka sudah cukup membuktikan keberanian mereka untuk mengapresiasikan bakat dan hobi mereka akan musik buktinya mereka pernah beberapa kali menjadi juara festifal band disekolah mereka dan hebatnya mereka juga pernah tampil dalam parade musik Underground ditahun 2004.
Pada tahun 2005 OKLEYS menjelma menjadi sebuah grup band yang berbasis sebagai band rock dan mereka mengganti nama mereka menjadi DEI JAVU alasan mereka agar terdengar lebih sangar…tidak tanggung-tanggung mereka mengusung lagu-lagu milik grup-grup band rock ternama dunia seperti Dream theater, Hallowen, Bon jovi, Fire house, GNR dan grup band lainnya. Berbagai ajang musik diikuti terutama ajang musik rock dan dari sini mereka menorehkan berbagai prestasi seperti 10 besar dalam festifal band rock pada tahun 2005 dan berbagai ajang musik dan festifal lain namun sebuah prestasi yang paling membanggakan bagi mereka adalah menjadi juara 2 ( runner up ) dalam ajang festifal musik rock se-Sumatera selatan di tahun 2005. Sebuah prestasi yang sangat luar biasa bagi grup band yang berasal dari daerah.
Setelah banyak menikmati pengalaman-pengalaman dari berbagai ajang musik, Pada tahun 2007 mereka mempunyai gagasan untuk terjun keindustri rekaman.hingga pada awal juli 2007 mereka berangkat ke Palembang untuk rekaman 2 lagu mereka. Hebatnya, mereka pergi rekaman dengan biaya sendiri dengan cara patungan dan demi menghemat ongkos mereka pergi dengan mengendarai Sepeda Motor padahal mereka harus menepuh jarak ratusan kilometer namun semangat mereka tidak kalah dengan semua itu. Hingga pada tanggal 07 Juli 2007 mereka menyebut diri mereka OPTIC dengan dua lagu perdana mereka yaitu “Hari yang membosankan” dan “Cinta untukmu”...

2.Filosofi nama OPTIC
OPTIC bukan hanya sekedar nama atau sebutan bagi grup band yang beranggotakan lima pemuda ini.
Secara harpiah OPTIC berarti alat untuk melihat, namun dapat juga diartikan sebagai Pandangan, Filosofinya bahwa lima orang yang berbeda menyatukan diri dalam sebuah pandangan ( OPTIC ) untuk meraih satu tujuan.
OPTIC juga merupakan singkatan dari OPTion of musIC yang berarti pilihan dalam bermusik. Disini mengandung filosofi bahwa OPTIC ingin menjadi pilihan bagi setiap orang dalam hal menikmati dan mengapresiasikan musik.
Jadi jelas dalam nama OPTIC terkandung filosofi yang mendalam. OPTIC merupakan sebuah deklarasi komitmen dari para personilnya yang mempunyai latar belakang yang berbeda demi mencapai tujuannya yaitu menjadi pilihan bagi setiap orang dalam hal menikmati dan mengapresiasikan musik dan ini menjadi visi dan misi OPTIC..
